Election Results Viewing Party

Hosted by The Theatre Centre & Labour in the Arts

election viewing party hosted by aislinn rose & labour in the arts, ft. potato chips and drink specials

In 2015 The Theatre Centre hosted an election results viewing party that saw Trudeau (Jr) forming government for the first time. (We also held a “don’t be alone” event in 2016, but we don’t talk about that one.)

In the spirit of this Theatre Centre tradition, we’re hosting a 2025 election viewing party!

Justin Trudeau resigned on January 6, after serving as Prime Minister for 10 years. This upcoming federal election comes during an unprecedented time for Canada-US trade relations, and will impact the direction of Canada’s outlook on areas such as social programs, economy, immigration, Indigenous Affairs, and of course, Arts and Culture.

Hosted by Artistic Director Aislinn Rose and Shanae Sodhi from Labour in the Arts! Bring a bag of your favourite chips to add to the chips pile. Aislinn will design the signature cocktail (and there may even be special ice), and Labour in the Arts will provide some crafting supplies.

We’ll have drink specials going all night!

The Theatre Centre

We believe art is not in a silo: it is connected to the world around it. It’s part of The Theatre Centre’s mission and history to host and not shy away from civic debate and political conversations!
