The award winning creative team of Michele Smith and real life husband and wife Dan Watson and Christina Serra bring their rough and tumble romance following the struggles of two Italian lovers in the face of war, immigration and old age. Based on the true story of Serra’s grandparents, this passionate acrobatic comedy radically reinvents the modern melodrama.

Ralph + Lina was originally presented as part of The Independent Creators Cooperative supported by two established companies – Why Not Theatre and Theatre Smith-Gilmour – with three physical theatre productions that inaugurated the BMO Incubator for Live Arts in The Theatre Centre’s new home.
