Transfigure / Transfix: The Listening Room

Presented by Ghost Tower Theatre Company

How do you know you know someone?
In this one night only premiere, Ghost Tower Theatre Company and Around + Out Theatre Company present TRANSFIGURE/TRANSFIX, a bi-province audio play.

Tuesday is a 27 year old barista. Vesper is a professional mourner and shapeshifter. In this sexy early-2000s tale of romance, magic, and funerals, the pair will explore needing people and being needed in the way only messy queers can. Bring a pillow, blanket, or cushion and sit or lay on the (blanketed) floor, letting the voices of Toronto’s Jonnie Lombard and Bronwyn Keough and Halifax’s Lou Campbell and Laura Spencer transport you in time and space.

For this special showcase, also enjoy companion installation and animation pieces from local artists Sophie Parisi and Abby Kettner, creating an exciting multimedia experience.
