What Happened to the Seeker

STO Union Co-production with The Theatre Centre (Toronto), Festival TransAmériques (Montreal), BIT Teatergarasjen (Norway), and Brut Koproductionshaus (Austria), and in association with the Wakefield Art Collective

Here for 3 shows only and arriving from FTA (Montreal), Mag North (Ottawa) and The Hebbel (Berlin), don’t miss STO Union’s newest entry onto the international stage, What Happened to the Seeker.

Developed through The Theatre Centre’s Tracy Wright Global ArchiveWhat Happened to the Seeker tells the story of a middle-class, North American woman’s effort to recapture the sense of well-being that came from being a child of the Seekers – the free love generation of the 1960’s that searched for spiritual fulfillment.

Told in triptych form through performance, video, and installation, you’re invited to join this personal, multidisciplinary journey, which captures one woman’s attempt at living in this world.

“What Happened to the Seeker…is the biggest and most successful risk in this year’s Magnetic North Theatre Festival.”
                                                                          – Jonas McLean, New Ottawa Critics
