SummerWorks expands the possibilities of performance with their 33rd annual Festival, featuring diverse encounters and curious collaborations with artists and creative collaborators from across Canada, and around the world. This year’s Festival programming offers a snapshot of the future of contemporary performance, with full presentations of new work alongside works in crucial stages of development, offering audiences a dynamic choice in how they engage with the Festival.

Curated by, and in conversation with six Guest Curators, the 2023 Festival asks crucial questions about our relationship to our senses, and heightens our embodied awareness of the world around us. It’s a diverse mix of innovative and sensorial performance experiences combined with unique and thought-provoking creative exchanges.
