8 minutes 17 seconds

Produced by Blue Ceiling dance

Each performance will have 4 TAD (Tactile Audio Display) chairs available.

The length of time it takes light to travel from the Sun to Earth is the launching point for this kaleidoscopic contemporary dance theatre work, exploring the metaphors and soul of cosmology, the behavior of light in space and the implications of 8:17 on our sense of mortality.

This fresh new work has been created and produced with the support of Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council, Toronto Dance Theatre Creative Residency, OpenSpace Residency at the National Ballet of Canada and Peggy Baker Dance Projects Creative Residency program.
