Community Funded Art: A Collective Discussion.

Presented by Big Kablammo Collective
Join theatre creators Brenna Paulsen and Sydney Jinjoe in a group brainstorming workshop that explores the limits of government grant funding, and potential community- funded alternatives.

This is an extension of the article they published last month, “The Trouble With State-Funded Art.” (It will be helpful to have read it, but not necessary!)
We will talk the problems with funding independent art making of all disciplines, but also brainstorm potential solutions and structures we can make together.

7PM at The Theatre Centre, and Free! Drinks and snacks available for purchase at the cafe.
