Discourse on Dance + Life Drawing
Presented by Jessie Garon and Near & Far Projects
In collaboration between Heaven co-producer Jessie Garon and Tavia Christina from Near & Far Projects, we’re gathering for a discussion exploring the history of nudity in Canadian dance – from the choreographers and works that challenged convention to the question of who gets to be nude, and why?
Following Discourse we invite folks to stay for Life Drawing. No experience required, participants must bring their own sketchbooks and preferred drawing utensils.
Featured models: Kiah Frances, Kway Okyere, Sierra Kelman.
