Slammin-Jammin Fundraiser

6th Man Collective presents Slammin-Jammin Fundraiser @ The Theatre Centre Pop-Up

Our Residency artists 6th Man Collective have been working on Rebound – a theatrical piece inspired by their love for basketball. With their final residency period coming up in the next couple of months, they are putting together a two-part fundraiser in support of Rebound.

Part 1: 7-9pm – NBA JAM Wii Tournament

You play a minimum of two games –  sign up yourself and a friend for $40 or come in alone and be paired up with someone for $20! To sign up, send an email to [email protected] or drop a line to Colin Doyle @ [email protected]. Registration will close at 16 teams. The champion of the tournament will win Raptors tickets!

Part 2: 9-11pm – Join some of Canada’s top comics and friends of the collective! Each performer will do 15 minutes bits, with the 6th Man Collective doing basketball related pieces in between. There will be beer, 20/20, a silent auction and much more!

And then we go about our lives. It’s a beautiful intimacy.” For actor, director, and writer Gregory Prest, even a...

“The difference between Versus and my other shows is that this one is a celebration of community while the other ones were me trying to punch people in the face to say, “wake up.” Rather, it’s me saying, “we’re all like this guy, it’s tough, so let’s keep walking forward together.” Residency Artist, Adam Lazarus,...
