Spark Night - Generator Turns 10!

Presented by Generator

Generator is turning 10 and you’re invited to celebrate!!
Join us for SPARK NIGHT, an evening to celebrate ten whole years of Generator doing what we love: collaborating with artist-producers and creative folks across the indie performing arts sector. It’s been a decade of mentoring, learning, producing, experimenting, and building more sustainable ways to work and we’re throwing a party to honour it all!
We’re also celebrating YOU! The participants, creatives, and community members who’ve joined us this season or have been with us from the start. We’re cheering for our first-ever Producer Development Unit, Artist Producer Lab, the very first season of The Generator Podcast, and our amazing new APR.com platform. It’s been a big year, and we want to mark it with joy.
Expect pizza, music, cake, games, a live collage-making station, where you can contribute a little love note, doodle, or a thought that will become part of a mini zine!
Whether you’re a longtime Generator pal, a new collaborator, or just curious about the wild world of producing, SPARK NIGHT is where you need to be. Come celebrate with us, connect with others, and help us dream up the next 10 years!

“Some of my all-time favourite moments have been when something hilariously awkward happens in public and I catch the eyes of a stranger and for a second we know exactly what each other is thinking. And then we go about our lives. It’s a beautiful intimacy.” For actor, director, and writer Gregory Prest, even a...

“The difference between Versus and my other shows is that this one is a celebration of community while the other ones were me trying to punch people in the face to say, “wake up.” Rather, it’s me saying, “we’re all like this guy, it’s tough, so let’s keep walking forward together.” Residency Artist, Adam Lazarus,...
