The Deep End Weekend
Presented by Nova Dance
The Deep End Weekend is a two-day creative immersion combining stimulating conversations and joyous surprising collaborations.
Led by Nova Dance’s Artistic Director Nova Bhattacharya, The Deep End Weekend aims to provide dance artists who have trained in dance forms of the South Asian diaspora the opportunity to consider their art as a vital and essential part of contemporary Canadian society; and collaborate with artists of a diverse range of practice and cultural backgrounds in the creation of new works.
The Deep End Weekend is a unique opportunity to work in and outside of your comfort zone in a supportive and challenging environment with a diverse range of aesthetics, artists and ideas. Participation for artists is free, as is the public performance on the final day of the workshop.
