Composed of musicians Dennis Passley, Rakesh Tewari, David Gouveia, Martino Lozej, and Eon Sinclair — Astral RIDDIMS, a five-piece spiritual Jazz band, is not to be missed!
Astral RIDDIMS is found by Dennis Passley, a Toronto-based professional creative, composer, saxophonist and bandleader who has sustained an international touring career for over 25 years. He also leads Northern Soul Horns (including the release of Big Band Theory). Beyond the stage, Passley founded the Toronto People’s Library, reflecting his commitment to accessibility and amplifying underrepresented voices.

David Gonçalves Gouveia is a world-class musician whose dynamic career spans over three decades of professional performance, recording, and international touring. A highly sought-after artist, he has contributed to two Juno Award–winning albums and collaborated with Grammy Award–winning producers, cementing his reputation for musical excellence at the highest level. David launched his professional career in Toronto at the renowned Brazilian Club at the early age of 18, where he quickly honed his craft before gaining wider recognition with the band One Step Beyond. From there, his career flourished into a thriving freelance path, taking him across the globe and into diverse musical landscapes. Equally at home on international stages and in Toronto’s live venues, David continues to bring exceptional artistry, versatility, and deep musicality to every performance.

Maritimes-born drummer, percussionist, composer and educator Rakesh Tewari is known for his deep groove, sensitive musicality and genre-defying collaborations that reflect roots stretching from Northern India (Bihar) to Canada and beyond. Drawing on decades of international touring, classical piano and studies in North Indian, African, Middle Eastern and contemporary traditions, he brings a unique blend of drum set, classical percussion, electronics, tabla and folkloric percussion to stage and screen.
