RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT

DNA Theatre presents RED LIGHT GREEN LIGHT, a radical ballet

Who can forget playing that game in childhood?

Here we have five guys getting together to play – not exactly this game but one governed by different rules and restrictions – but still strict and exacting. How did they come up with this new game? What is going on in the their minds?

After making two radical ballets for only girls, DNA has decided to do one for only guys. So, no feminine sweet-natured gentleness, but muscle, testosterone and fight.

“[DNA’s Artistic Director] Hillar Liitoja continues to be the most eccentric man of theatre in Toronto.” – Paula Citron, December 2009
