Tiny Concert Series — This Feels Like Home

Part of The Theatre Centre’s Tiny Concert Series
Adria Kain and Dre Ngozi

This Feels Like Home is an intimate concert experience celebrating Adria Kain‘s latest body of work through music, photography and visual storytelling. The evening explores the idea of home—not only as a place, but as a feeling found within ourselves, our memories, and the people who shape us. Guests are invited to experience a curated gallery before gathering outdoors for a live performance that brings the album to life in a warm summer setting.

More than an open-format DJ, she is a cultural storyteller whose performances weave together rhythm, movement, and global influences into moments that connect people through music.

This performance is part of events that we’re calling our Tiny Concert Series for Torontonians, increasing the community’s access to shared arts and culture experiences.

We will be hosting free and low-cost, outdoor music events over the spring/summer months, moving them indoors if the weather is poor. The music programming will span a range of genres including R&B, soul, reggae, and jazz and will feature the dynamic talents of local musicians.

“Some of my all-time favourite moments have been when something hilariously awkward happens in public and I catch the eyes of a stranger and for a second we know exactly what each other is thinking. And then we go about our lives. It’s a beautiful intimacy.” For actor, director, and writer Gregory Prest, even a...
